Daily Hope and Inspiration from Pastor Mark

We have many things in our lives that keep us safe and protected from harm. From the clothes we wear to protect us from the elements to the various things in our homes, cars, and jobs, like locks, safety glass, and fire retardant materials, we are surrounded by protection and security. It’s so common and a part of our culture that we seldom think about it. What about our hearts? I don’t mean the healthy food we are supposed to eat and the daily exercise we are supposed to participate in that keeps us physically healthy. What are we doing to protect our hearts from the worldly influences that can cause us to make bad decisions based on illusions of material things that spark the pride and greed of our self -will? How are you guarding your heart from these influences?.... Check your experience… “Here was something at work in a human heart which had done the impossible.” Big Book pg 11 Lord, let us guard our hearts from the illusions of this world by focusing on Your Will, Word, and Truth, AMEN. “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” Proverbs 4:23 Have a blessed day y’all! Why worry?.. Schedules conflict, appointments run long, and our responsibilities never seems to end! Now maybe it’s different for you but when I find myself, as I often do, mentally leaving the present situation because my mind wants me to start focusing on where it thinks I should be according to the “plan”, I have to remind myself that this is where I need to be and now is where my focus need to be. Wringing my hands, pacing, checking my watch, calendar, or phone, won’t move the time any faster. I have learned that the root cause of all of this for me is my fear based mind’s desire to worry. The solution I have to force myself at times to grab and hold onto is that God has me right here right now for His own reasons and I need to be awake and present in this moment and not lost in thoughts and worry over my day not matching up with my calendar. Worry won’t change a thing, except to make your present situation more uncomfortable… Check your experience… “Nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake.” Big Book pg 417 Lord, let us trade in out worries for your grace and guidance, AMEN. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4: 6-7 Have a blessed day y’all! Daily devotions with the Big Book and Bible combined! Faith or fear? ... It's the age old problem that we face every day. It comes seemingly from out of nowhere, but if not confronted immediately, our day can get hijacked with our thoughts taken hostage and our minds blinded by it. What is it? FEAR. ... OK, so maybe you are one of those invincible folks already so full of faith that fear has no way to get a grip inside of you. I wish I could say that, but I am human and without putting myself in check with faith each time a fear tries to crop up, I am a victim. Try this the next time you find yourself stepping on the gas out of fear of missing the light, or when your mind fills with words you feel you must immediately say, instead of listening to the conversation completely, before it's your turn to speak...I bet y'all didn't consider those as a fear did you? ... RELAX and let your faith guide your mind! ... Check your experience. ... "We think fear ought to be classed with stealing. It seems to cause more trouble." Big Book pg 68 Lord, quiet the fears in our minds with the Faith in our hearts, AMEN. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7 Have a blessed day y'all! Daily devotions with the Big Book and Bible combined! Whatcha wearin' on the inside? .... I used to share this thought as part of a class lesson when I was on staff at the Salvation Army ARC. ... You can wax, wash, shine, polish, and accessorize your car to its finest, but if you don't change the oil, keep the engine serviced, and keep quality fuel in the tank, you won't go anywhere and wind up with a fine looking piece of junk. .... The point is that if you don't maintain your engine (Spiritual) and inside mechanical parts (mental and emotional) that others cannot see, you will have junk, no matter how pretty or cool you look (on the outside. How are you maintaining the Spiritual and mental parts of your life?.. Check your experience... "What we really have is a daily reprieve contingent on the maintenance of our spiritual condition." Big Book pg 85 Lord, let us enter your Spiritual gym daily to keep our heart, mind, and soul in fit condition, AMEN. "Your adornment must not be merely external . . . but let it be the hidden person of the heart." 1 Peter 3:3-4 Have a blessed day y'all! Drop the rocks. ... Did you ever notice that in times of stress, fear, or extended worry your back usually aches and your shoulders and neck are stiff and tight? Sheesh! What's up with that? You are probably familiar with the term 'carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders'; and that is exactly what we are trying to do during these painful times! We can't change people, places, things, or situations. So why do we load our hearts and minds with the weight of things, we cannot change? When we block our hearts off from the Holy Spirit, our minds become prisoners of our self-induced thoughts our body takes on the weight of this unnatural stress causing pain in our back, shoulders, and neck. ... Drop those rocks! Give the weight of the world to God and watch your pains go away! ... As always..... Check your experience…. "But soon the sense of His presence had been blotted out by worldly clamors, mostly those within myself." Big Book pg 12-13 Lord let us give the weight of the world to you freeing us to focus on Your will for us and enjoy Your grace and peace, AMEN. "...let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." Hebrews 12:2 Have a blessed day y'all! Looking for the good in all situations. ... Perhaps it's different for you, but I have this magic magnifying glass in my mind that automatically tries to find the negative in everything and make it bigger than it is. Over the years I have learned to recognize this and turn it off before it gets a chance to twist my thinking. I now look for the good in everything and everyone, even when I am facing challenges and bad news. I am FREE to do this because I am God's kid and His Spirit resides in me. I know that no matter what, I will survive the situation and either learn or benefit in some way from it... Check your experience... "When I focus on what's good today, I have a good day, and when I focus on what's bad, I have a bad day. If I focus on a problem, the problem increases; if I focus on the answer, the answer increases." Big Book pg 417. Lord remind our hearts to quiet our minds in difficult times so that we may feel Your Spirit and know this too shall pass, AMEN. "We can rejoice too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love." Romans 5:3-5 Have a blessed day y'all! Clean on the inside... Most folks take pretty good care to make sure the things in their lives are clean for the most part. We have car washes for our cars, dog washes for our dogs, all kinds of ways to clean our homes and not to mention the infinite amount of personal hygiene products available to help us stay clean. While this is all well and good, it only addresses the outsides. Car washes don’t keep the inside of our cars, the engine, transmission, and other parts in good working order. All the personal hygiene products make us pretty on the outside and good healthy foods keep us healthy on the inside. We do these things daily and pretty much have habits and routines for our grooming and nutritional needs. What about our spiritual nature? Just how do we keep that clean and pretty? Maybe it’s different for you but, I have discovered that a daily dose of God’s Word along with time spent in prayer with Him keeps me in tune with Him and running smoothly… Check your experience… “The only condition is that he trust in God and clean house.” Big Book pg 98 Lord, let us clean ourselves daily on the inside with Your Word and Your Holy Spirit, AMEN. “After Jesus had finished speaking, a Pharisee asked Jesus to eat with him. So Jesus went in and sat at the table. But the Pharisee was surprised when he saw that Jesus did not wash his hands[a] before the meal. The Lord said to him, “You Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are full of greed and evil.” Luke 11: 37-39 Have a blessed day y’all! www.FaithThroughWorksFellowship.org

Don't drink the Kool-Aid, just drink the water... We buy products based on our experience. I have learned the hard way that a pretty package can be misleading. It's what's inside that counts. We look for the quick fix and instant gratification because that is our cultural norm these days, but do we get the long term and permanent results? Perhaps it’s different for you, but I have only found that through seeking spiritual growth daily and working on me and my attitudes and habits… Check your experience… "Our ideas did not work. But the God idea did." Big Book pg 52 Lord, thank You for quenching the thirst in our souls through Your Word and Spirit, AMEN. "Anyone who drinks the water I give will never thirst — not ever. The water I give will be an artesian spring within, gushing fountains of endless life.” John 4: 14 Have a blessed day y'all! www.FaithThroughWorksFellowship.org

Hearing check… Our hearing comes in all forms. Did you know that along with the ears attached to our head we also have other ears? We have mental ears that allow our human instincts to silently hear the world around us. We also have spiritual ears that allow our hearts to hear the Holy Spirit. While we use the ears attached to our heads to hear the normal everyday stuff life brings along with our “selective hearing” of only what we want to hear, our instinctual ears hear that faucet dripping before we realize it. More importantly, our spiritual ears allow our heart to hear the Holy Spirit and guide us towards God’s will and away from our own selfish will… Check your experience… “We never gave the spiritual side of life a fair hearing.” Big Book pg 50 Lord, let us hear Your Word with our Spiritual ears, AMEN. “Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, this is the way you should go,” Isaiah 30:21 Have a blessed day y’all! Start your day on a positive note! Daily devotions with the Big Book and Bible combined! Regaining our sight... Have you ever noticed how our attitudes, behaviors, and even our sight can be influenced by pride, anger, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, and or sloth? (PAGLEGS) These are influenced by our self-driven fears and change how we see things from how things actually are. Vision influenced by emotions is not clear vision. This poor vision leads us to all sorts of bad choices, actions, and decisions. Check your "vision" next time you are being led by emotions into hasty actions. Turn your will over to God and watch your vision (and emotions) be restored. ... Check your experience... "His presence had been blotted out by worldly clamors, mostly those within myself. And so it had been ever since. How blind I had been." Big Book pg 12-13 Lord open the eyes of our hearts so that we can see past the emotions of the moment, AMEN. "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit." Have you ever noticed that you are drawn to certain types of people naturally? Maybe it's different for you but I tend to gravitate towards folks who are naturally positive and open. I have learned over the years that this is a subconscious act we have within us. In my case it's because I want the positivity they have. I am seeking the Holy Spirit that is shining through them. What type of person do you find yourself drawn to? ... Check your experience… "... for deep down in every man, woman, and child, is the fundamental idea of God." Big Book pg 55 Lord let Your Spirit shine through us so that others can seek, see, and experience Your Light and grace, AMEN. It ain't about the stuff we gain..... Whoever dies with the most toys DOES NOT win. It's common practice for us to try to measure our success in ourselves and others by the size and amount of stuff we have. The problem with this standard is that it's an illusion of the truth. Whenever I find myself slipping back into this type of thinking I also tend to become less satisfied with what I already have as well as falsely base my happiness on the need to gain more stuff. Perhaps it's different for you, but my hope is that you are not measuring your worth to others and God based on the material stuff you have. God and others who really matter in our lives love us for who we are and not for what stuff we have. ... Check your experience… "In the realm of the material, men's minds were fettered by superstition, tradition, and all sort of fixed ideas." Big Book pg 51. Lord please let us see that our worth is based on what's in our hearts and not by the stuff we acquire, AMEN. "For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out." 1 Timothy 6:7 Have a blessed day y'all! Furniture Bank has been nominated for nonprofit of the year!! "Render to Caesar what is Caesar's" .... It's tax day. I am sure it is a very busy day for my friend Karl Schwab and others who help us math deficient, procrastinating Americans to do our legal requirements by the deadline! This is a condition of being free and a citizen but in no way should we perceive our government as our Master. One quick look in the mirror of our lives will reveal what we choose to be our Master. Some of us through our habits choose the almighty dollar, others become slaves of sorts to material things, places, and or people. Folks it's only through Jesus that we can be truly free and gain eternal life though serving the only true Master. ... Check your experience. ... "Every day is a day when we must carry the vision of God’s will into all of our activities. “How can I best serve Thee-Thy will (not mine) be done.” These are thoughts which must go with us constantly." Big Book pg 83. Lord let us respect our commitments to work and our country, but continue to train and remind our hearts that we only need to serve our one and only Master, AMEN. Where does your mind wander? ... We are exposed daily to a multitude of sights, sounds, and even smells that are designed to grab our attention. It's ok and even healthy in most cases to have our minds momentarily stimulated by different sights and sounds but.... if we linger on that image or sound too long it can become a distraction. Repetitive distractions lead to changes in our behaviors, habits, and attitudes. Overtime if this continues our spiritual life can become challenged and even halted. Then the distraction becomes our addiction. .... Remember folks where your mind wanders your heart follows. ... Check your experience. ... “In the realm of the material, men's minds were fettered by superstition, tradition, and all sorts of fixed ideas.” Big Book pg 51 Lord help us through the power of Your Holy Spirit inside each of us to keep our hearts immune to permanent earthly distractions, AMEN. When the going gets tough. ... There are times when we are faced with a difficult decision or situation, it seems to be a part of being human. Perhaps you are healthier mentally and spiritually than me, but my initial gut reaction is to feel alone, isolate, and let my self-generated fears turn the difficult moment into a bad choice. Over the years I have learned to expect this reaction in me and to not act on it. I turn to prayer and invite the Holy Spirit to guide my words, actions, and choices. When I do, I no longer feel alone, defeated, or fearful. Sure I still have to walk through the situation but I no longer let it control me and my attitudes. I remind myself that God has me covered with His Spiritual Armor and I walk through it. Is God helping you through those rough patches? ... Check your experience. ... “What seemed at first a flimsy reed, has proved to be the loving and powerful hand of God.” Big Book pg 28 Lord remind our hearts and quiet our minds in times of difficulty that You are with us no matter what, AMEN. We remain free through serving others… This is an odd concept yet for those of us who have experienced serving someone or something out of the kindness of our hearts with no expectation of return get it. Think about it for a moment. Every day we naturally help, assist, or give a hand to someone or something instinctually. From parents caring for their children’s needs to yielding the right of way to another while we walk or drive, we are instinctually serving. It’s part of our nature. The Spiritual principle supporting this is the fact that through serving others, we are humbling ourselves to put another’s needs before our wants. The feeling you get is immeasurable when you do something for someone who can never pay you back. Helping others, does in fact, help ourselves…Check your experience… “Helping others is the foundation stone” Big Book pg 97 Lord, let us exercise and grow our freedom through helping others, AMEN. “For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.” Galatians 5:13 have a blessed day y’all! Huge BACK YARD Sale 7 AM to NOON TODAY! Choose your words. ... Words can either heal, help, or hurt, depending on how we choose to use them. One of the things we can't recall, rewind, or take back are the words that come flying from our mouths fueled by fear, anger, or other emotions of the moment. I have learned painfully over the years that it's best for me to not let the emotions of the moment inside of me fuel my words. I have found that when, instead of letting my emotions of the moment lead the charge of my “verbal vomit”, I quietly give the words to God and let the Holy Spirit guide my emotions and quiet my will, that I use better words for the situation. ... Check your experience. ... "Patience, tolerance, understanding and love are the watchwords." Big Book pg 118. Lord let the words we choose be fueled with love, kindness, and encouragement, AMEN. Eye checkup time… It’s not about using our eyes to see, rather it’s about what we CHOOSE to look at and truly see. Think about it for a moment. It’s human nature that we like to look at things that are pleasing to the eye. However, it’s when our head lies to us to make us think something is pleasing to the eye when it’s actually dangerous to our heart and soul that our struggle begins. For instance, when I see all of the desserts and sugary things my eye loves to gaze upon, my heart and soul suffer and my body is the living example of this suffering. Y’all can come up with your own examples!.. Check your experience... . “Scales of pride and prejudice fell from my eyes.” Big Book pg 12 Lord let us use the eyes of our heart to help us see the things we need to see and not the illusions that can cause us harm, AMEN. Lord let us use the eyes of our heart to help us see the things we need to see and not the illusions that can cause us harm, AMEN. “We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.” Hebrews 12:2 Have a blessed day y’all! What is your comfort source?.. We have all sorts of things in our lives that provide comfort when we seek them and use them properly. From comfortable shoes, clothes, and chairs, to people, places, and things, when we find comfort, we tend to return to the source of it again and again. Our relationship with God works the same way when we seek Him. He is waiting to help us, all we have to do is grow our relationship with Him and allow His Holy Spirit to become our source of comfort. So…what is your source of comfort?.. Check your experience…. . “We could wish to be moral, we could wish to be philosophically comforted, in fact, we could will these things with all our might, but the needed power wasn't there.” Big Book pg 45 Lord, let us seek and find comfort in You, AMEN “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. Whether we realize it or not, we are around people in need every day. Some are in our lives daily, and others we encounter randomly, or so it seems. Now the needs can go from a helping hand, to a warm meal, to just a kind word and a smile. What a difference we can make as followers of Christ, who have experienced His love, by doing good and sharing His grace with others that He so freely and unconditionally gives us. … Check your experience. .. “Helping others is the foundation stone” Big Book pg 97. Lord let the eyes of our hearts remain open to see the needs of others as we go about our day, AMEN. “And don't forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.” Hebrews 13:16 Have a blessed day y’all! Start your day on a positive note! Daily devotions with the Big Book and Bible combined! Just like an Ever Ready battery.... We have many folks who spend their lives in a state of readiness to protect, help, and serve us in our tines of danger and need. From our military at home and abroad to our police, fire, and medical folks, we have a buffer of safety, comfort, and protection ALWAYS available for us. Now what about us regular folk? What really lays in our hearts and keeps our minds in a quiet yet alert state of readiness? Before turning my will and life over to the care of God through Jesus, my readiness was only focused on what I thought I could GET for me. Now days, with the Holy Spirit guiding my life and in my heart, I enjoy and honor a quiet awareness to the needs of others. These days I enjoy being able to be the "Ever Ready" supplier of support and encouragement for those closest to me. What is your state of readiness based on? ... Check your experience. ... "We had to ask ourselves why we shouldn't apply to our human problems this same readiness to change." Big Book pg 52. Lord thank You for the lamp of readiness to serve that is in our hearts to be used according to Your will not ours, AMEN. “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning," Luke 12:35 Have a blessed day y'all! Are we clean on the inside? .... No matter how many times we wash and wax our cars it will neither cure nor fix any engine problems. Now most of us understand this and that is why we change oil frequently and find a garage or mechanic we can trust to keep our cars running well. Are we doing the same for our internal spiritual engine? It's great to be all dressed up and cleaned up on the outside but that doesn't fix our inner mental and spiritual health. Most folks can see through our superficial look good to feel our brokenness. Who is your spiritual mechanic? ... Check your experience. .... "Our sound reasoning failed to hold us in check." Big Book pg 37. Lord let us bring our hearts and minds to you daily for a spiritual checkup and refreshment, AMEN. "First wash the inside of the cup and the dish, and then the outside will become clean, too.” Matthew 23:26 Have a blessed day y'all! THERE IS STILL TIME to get your 2017 AZ Tax Credit! YES for 2017! It ain’t all about me. … There are times when my head tries to convince me of the illusion that it (whatever “it” is) is all about me. Generally I discover that I am a victim of this delusion when I become frustrated that things are not going exactly as I think they should be. Thank goodness I have the grace available to me through the Holy Spirit to check myself to discover that I am in self-will and it ain’t about me. When I accept this, I refocus my attitudes and look to see what I can bring to the situation instead of trying to see what I can get out of it. The amazing thing is that it then goes far better than I imagined in my selfish self-centered mind! …Check your experience. … “But be sure you are on solid spiritual ground before you start and that your motive in going is thoroughly good. Do not think of what you will get out of the occasion. Think of what you can bring to it.” Big Book pg 102 Lord, thank you for the grace that the Holy Spirit brings us to remind us that self-will can be deceptive and Your will can show us the truth, AMEN. "Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude." 1Peter 3:8 Have a blessed day y’all! Learning to rely….. We learn from an early age to rely on others. As children we rely on adults to keep us healthy, safe, and to help us grow. As adults we learn that self- reliance only takes us so far and we need to rely on people, places, and things to get through our daily journey. This is a good plan but we are only as good as what it is we rely upon. Think about it. People are human after all and prone to failures and mistakes. Places can change due to the people in them or economic circumstances. Things like electronics get outdated and even obsolete. So the question is what can we rely upon that never changes and always is in step with our lives? Maybe it’s different for you, but the answer for me and my house has been, is, and will forever be to rely on our relationship with God through Jesus and the Holy Spirit… Check your experience… . “When we saw others solve their problems by a simple reliance upon the Spirit of the Universe, we had to stop doubting the power of God.” Big Book pg 52 Lord, let us learn to rely on You and trust Your presences and guidance in our lives, AMEN. “…we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God,” 2 Corinthians 1:9 Have a blessed day y’all! That Personal Trainer at the Spiritual Gym… It seems just about everyone has a physical fitness routine they try to follow. From gym memberships to hiking, biking, or running, most folks I know are doing something daily to keep their bodies healthy and in shape. The point is that physical fitness involving diet and exercise is now a part of our culture. Being physically healthy is something we need to own but what about our spiritual health? How are we building up our spiritual fitness? The good news is that just like our physical fitness routines, we can keep spiritually fit too. Daily time spent in the Word, prayer, as well as frequent contact with other believers can and does build up our spiritual fitness. What does your daily spiritual fitness routine include?.. Check your experience… “Assuming we are spiritually fit, we can do all sorts of things” Big Book pg 100 Lord, let us grow spiritually healthy through daily time spent in Your Word and in prayer, AMEN. “Exercise daily in God—no spiritual flabbiness, please! Workouts in the gymnasium are useful, but a disciplined life in God is far more so, making you fit both today and forever. You can count on this. Take it to heart.” 1Timothy 4:8-9 Have a blessed day y’all! Furniture Bank has been nominated for nonprofit of the year!! WE NEED YOUR VOTES!!!!! Is it a want or a request?.. Prayer changes things. ... We have all heard this and hopefully most of us will attest to its validity, prayer DOES change things. Does it give us the exact outcome or solution we want every time? Not exactly. ...BUT it changes us on the inside if we are willing. Think about it, if we pray with the willingness to accept God's plan as our desired answer instead of a specific outcome then things change. I have learned to pray to WANT what it GET instead of GET what I think I WANT… So instead of praying "God let me win the lottery”.... try praying for God to give you financial provisions and wisdom to be a good steward of the money that comes through your labor....Check your experience. ... "....praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out." Big Book pg 59 Lord let our hearts be willing to accept your answers when we come to you in prayer, AMEN "Be anxious for. nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God…will guard your hearts and minds." It’s not about what you’ve got…it’s about what you do with it… Every one of us, whether we realize it or not, has special talents, unique gifts, and blessings. We were each designed for a purpose and it is human nature to have these unique natural abilities. Spiritually speaking, it’s not about having these gifts and keeping them for our own sole advantage, rather it’s about what we do with them to help others… Check your experience… “He often possesses special abilities, skills, and aptitudes,” Big Book pg 21 Lord, thank You for the unique gifts and talents you have given each of us. Please let us use these t less and help others, AMEN. “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” 1 Peter 4:10 Have a blessed day y’all! Start your day on a positive note! Daily devotions with the Big Book and Bible combined! Exchanging the truth for a lie… Part of being human and having free will is dealing with the constant challenges we face daily for our attention and focus. There is all kinds and types of never-ending noise around us attempting to grab our attention and take us hostage emotionally. We are led to believe by many tricksters and false prophets that their product or service will fix us and make us complete. It never ends, or so it seems. ... The gift of free will us that we can consciously choose what we focus on and what we allow to grab our attention. The person, place, thing, or situation that we allow to dominate our mind will eventually invade our heart and drive our behaviors. It becomes our God. So the suggestion I want to make today is to take a long look in the mirror and ask ourselves, what or who is our God? ... Check your experience. ... "we had to fearlessly face the proposition that either God is everything or else He is nothing." Big Book pg 53 Lord let us open our hearts and minds daily to turn our will and lives over to You to be free of the worldly false Gods, AMEN. "They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator." Romans 1:25 Have a blessed day y'all! He is risen, nothing to fear. …… This Easter Sunday I am humbled with the newness that the Risen Christ brings to our lives. Being reminded of how His death conquered all that drags us down and truly brings me back to the roots of our faith and our freedom. The daily routines, issues, challenges, and habits of our lives can easily distract and pull us away from the life changing truth that is ours on a daily basis. Eternal life is ours for the asking. All we gotta do is ask and believe… Check your experience… “…we had to stop doubting the power of God.” Big Book pg 52 Lord, Thank you that Christ is risen! Please help us today to walk in the power and grace of the risen Christ. Please let us always seek Your will and not be stifled by our own, Amen. “The angel spoke to the women: “There is nothing to fear here. I know you're looking for Jesus, the One they nailed to the cross. He is not here. He was raised, just as he said …." Matthew 28:5-6 Have a blessed Resurrection day y’all! www.FaithThroughWorksFellowship.org
