God made each of us unique

God made each of us unique
You were designed for success and God has a special and unique purpose for each one of us! We have been wired to be creative. Did you know that you do not have to be a prisoner of your past?   Put your past behind you. Our willingness to forgive is the key to our new future.  We must be able to forgive ourselves and others. Until we are able to forgive, we will remain a prisoner of our past. This key of willingness unlocks us from the binds of our past and frees us to move on to what God has planned for us. This also means that me and my 12 Step friends must continually work our steps to conquer our character defects and walk through our resentments and fears across the bridge of faith to God’s Promises.
I challenge you this week to look inside yourself and see what is holding you back!
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”
Isaiah 43:18 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.”
Big Book pg 84 This thought brings us to Step Ten, which suggests we continue to take personal inventory and continue to set right any new mistakes as we go along. We vigorously commenced this way of living as we cleaned up the past. We have entered the world of the Spirit. Our next function is to grow in understanding and effectiveness. This is not an overnight matter. It should continue for our lifetime. Continue to watch for selfishness, dishonesty, resentment, and fear. When these crop up, we ask God at once to remove them. We discuss them with someone immediately and make amends quickly if we have harmed anyone. Then we resolutely turn our thoughts to someone we can help. Love and tolerance of others is our code.
