What’s “on” your mind?... Simple thought today folks. There is so much competing for our attention these days. All forms of electronic media as well as print and physical displays compete for our attention. Our minds can be taken hostage before we even know it. Have you ever found yourself humming a jingle from a TV commercial, or maybe your eyes are drawn to that cool billboard on the highway as you drive. Now maybe it’s different for you, but I have finally learned how to at least become aware of this behavior in myself and get a hand up on it. I have learned that whatever occupies my heart will be “on” my mind. My daily goal is to fill my mind with good thoughts of family, friends, and blessings. This helps me to combat the visual and audio chaos trying to take my mind hostage. Please take a look at what is occupying your heart to see how it affects your mind. As always….Check your experience… “Our thought-life will be placed on a much higher plane when our thinking is cleared of wrong motives” Big Book pg 86 Lord, please let our hearts be filled with the goodness of our family, friends, faith, and Your grace, AMEN. “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.” Philippians 4: 8-9 Have a blessed day y’all! Hey friends please check out Servants Hearts!
