It was fun living with a teenager.
When she was younger, watching our daughter spend time attending to her looks made my heart smile to see that she was at that age where she wanted to put her best appearance forward, no matter what the occasion.
I still did not totally get the outfits but thank goodness her mother did!
Miss Kai is so appearance conscious that I even get tips on how I can dress better.
I am glad to know that while it’s good to pay attention to our outward appearance,..
it’s even more important to pay attention to our internal and spiritual appearance.
Is our heart attractive and full of good thoughts and God’s will or are we trying to hide our selfish desires there and keep them covered in false words and deeds?
God can see our hearts and knows us better than we can ever imagine...

Lord, open our hearts for a spring cleaning to rid us of selfish wants and desires that can guide us away from Your grace and peace, AMEN.
