Why is it called GOOD Friday?
Why not Friday MOURNING?..
“When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.” John 19:30 The tragedy and horror of Jesus’ death followed 2 days later with His resurrection resulted in the opportunity for everyone who turns to God, through Jesus Christ, to be forgiven from their sins and to receive eternal life. So from something so very bad, we have all received something eternally and forever good. “To us, the Realm of Spirit is broad, roomy, all inclusive; never exclusive or forbidding to those who earnestly seek.” Big Book pg 46.
